HALLERTAU BLANC HOP PROFILE – WHITE WINE AND GOOSEBERRY WITH NOTES OF PASSION FRUIT, MANGO AND LEMONGRASS

Hallertau Blanc

The Hop Head team has our trip planned to the Hallertau region of Germany for this years selection.  One of our favorite hops to select is Hallertau Blanc.  It is grown in the Hallertau region in the Bavaria State.   The Hallertau region is the largest continuous hop growing region in the world.  One third of the worlds hops are grown in  Germany and 80% are harvested in the Hallertau Region.  Since its release in 2012 by the Hüll Institute Hallertau Blanc has gained a reputation for giving brewers unique flavors and aromas.
